political office. As a result we’ve seen several health care candidates elected to office, from city and county positions all the way to the White House.
With a strong coalition of over 35,000 health care voters, we’ve elected leaders who are poised to deliver meaningful health care reform to the millions of Americans who struggle every day with the high cost of coverage. Change that Works will be working hard throughout the state to deliver health care reform in Washington, this year!
Our focus is reaching out to Iowa’s senior Senator Chuck Grassley, whose ranking position on the Senate Finance Committee makes him
a key player in the health care issue. Senator Grassley’s committee is already hard at work, developing a new health care bill. With Senator Grassley’s support we believe a meaningful bill can pass, but he needs to hear from Iowans who are concerned about this issue.
Please help your union make health care reform a reality. Email Change that Works to see how you can get involved at: ChangethatWorksIowa@gmail.com. We want all of our union brothers and sisters to join in this fight. We’ll help you reach out to Senator Grassley by mail, phone, or though a letter to the editor.
With your help, we can finally create a health care system that works for everyone!!!
